Banking Online Tips

Protect Yourself and Your Family When Banking Online!

Use These Tips When Banking Online:

Banking passwords – Make them complex and different from the password combinations you use on other sites. Never share your banking passwords with another person.

Use additional authentication protection measures:

  • Register mobile devices that can receive log-in codes from your bank.

  • Choose memorable images for recognition verification

  • Utilize security questions like ‘What’s your mother’s maiden name’.  Register a phony name not the real answer.

Extra security software – Many online banking sites have additional security software that works in conjunction with your regular anti-virus for additional protection. Take a few extra minutes to download this extra level of protection for additional peace of mind.
