Increasing Access

Increasing access to broadband is a high priority for MOIT. Our goal is 100% access for all Baltimoreans,regardless of neighborhood.

While we continue to develop the City municipal broadband infrastructure, there are many great programs and organizations working to bridge the digital divide and bring broadband to all Baltimoreans. Please visit the links below for more information.

Comcast Internet Essentials  – Provides low cost broadband to families with children received free or reduced priced lunches at Baltimore City Public Schools.

Enoch Pratt Free Library Computer Centers  – The Pratt Library System has several computer labs for public use as well as free classes and trainings for the public.

Digit All Systems – Digit All Systems is a non-profit technology training organization providing IT certification classes, trainings, and mentorship opportunities. In addition to building computer skills, Digit All also has a computer recycling and donation program.
